Alarmed & Monitored Control
The ALK Battery Alarm Kit is a simple yet effective way to monitor the use of an exit (escape) device. The ALK is a ‘bolt on’ solution that will not interfere with the ability of the escape device to act as a fail safe means of egress. RX (request to exit) signal switch feature is used to signal the use of an opening from the push side. When the push pad is depressed, the switch is activated. LX (latch bolt monitoring) signal switch monitors both egress and access of an opening. When the latch bolt is retracted, the switch is activated.
EL Electric Latch Retraction
The EL Electric Latch Retraction feature provides controlled access through escape doors (via a remote unlocking feature) usually found on the perimeter of a building. EL devices are ‘free from fixings’ hence, safe egress is always available. This feature is available on rim exit devices, surface mounted vertical rod devices and three point latching devices.
PN Pneumatic Latch Retraction
The PN Pneumatic Control feature provides controlled access through escape doors (via a remote unlocking feature) Usually found on the perimeter of a building. PN devices are ‘free from fixings’ hence, safe egress is always available. This feature is available on rim exit devices, surface mounted vertical rod devices and three point latching devices.
PN Pneumatic Latch Retraction provide solutions in ATEX rated environments.
