About Adhesive Gasketing (AG)
We offer a variety of adhesive-backed smoke and fire gasketing and edge sealing systems, including SiliconSeal, PemkoPrene, Silicone Triple-fin Gasketing and Hot Smoke Seal intumescent edge sealing for combination fire and smoke gasketing. Pemko gasketing is tested for sound resistence, smoke and draft control, fire rating, positive pressure, airworthiness and is BHMA certified.
About Combination Fire/Smoke Sealing/Gasketing
These combination fire and smoke gaskets provide an excellent seal against fire and smoke transfer around a rated door assembly.- Chemically inert, highly stable, expandable graphite strip
- Tested and proven in positive pressure conditions to withstand both hot smoke and hot gasses, resulting in longer integrity of the door assembly
- More economical to use than specially modified doors in “tested assembly only” classifications
- Hot Smoke Seal can be painted to blend in with the finish of a frame
- Will not degrade from carbon dioxide and ozone like many competitive intumescences from other manufacturers
- Unaffected by moisture and will not break down like fiber-based or cellulose-based products
