EPT Series - Electric Power Transfer

This Electric Power Transfer unit provides a means of transferring electrical power from a door frame to the edge of a swinging door. The units are completely concealed when the door is in the closed position, and are suited ideally for installations involving potential abuse or heavy traffic.

Default Specification

EPT-2 – Two 18 gauge wires up to 2A at 24Vdc with a maximum 16A surge
Housing – 229mm x 32mm x 38mm

EPT-10 – Ten 24 gauge wires up to 1A at 24Vdc with a maximum 16A surge
Housing – 229mm x 32mm x 38mm

Important Note 

Careful consideration should be given to the overall opening arc of the door and the offset of the pivot point. This device is not suitable for use with swing clear hinges or centre-hung pivots. If in doubt, please consult the sales office.
